Hi Bob:
That's where we play them. Technically I think it is the E strain. There is
an:
Intro in Eb, then
A, in Eb
B, in Eb
C, in Ab
D in Ab
E. in Eb (solos here)
After that you go to the two out chorus strains which are
F in Ab and
G in Ab.
Let me plug David Littlefield's Dixieland Fake Book here. It is all charted
out for you there in easy to read, printed fashion. As are a bunch of other
War-horse tunes. And the solo strains are identified on the many strained
tunes. No band should be without that basic fake book and the others he has
produced, unless you use your own arranger/copyist. They are wonderful and
VERY Accurate.
