Just what I was thinking, Bill. The "style" of a band can be declared by
the sound of of a sop sax. Think Firehouse 5 + 2.
It is a more aggressive instrument than the clarinet, and can drive a band
harder. Whereas the clarinet is normally sweeter. What style are you
looking for? That's the question. Bill's "Washboard vs. drums" situation
is exactly the same thing.
