Bob,

Hopland is north of the Bay Area and Santa Rosa on Highway 101 - about 
halfway between Cloverdale and Ukiah, near the west side of Clear Lake. 
Hopland actually is (or was) a center for the farming of Hops - an 
essential part of BEER! There are a lot of award winning microbreweries 
in that area...
