I saw Bobby Short and his swing band when they were on Tour in Detroit a few years back. He was marvelous. I was expecting to hear a lot of soft intimate music, and he showed up with a kickass jazz band. They did the Moten Swing/You're Driving Me Crazy number and knocked me out of my seat. Fred Ollison
