[Dixielandjazz] Louis Armstrong tune

Dear friends,
On 3 Sept 1949 Louis Armstrong, Jack Teagarden and pianist Joe Buskin
presented a song on 'The Eddie Condon Floor Show' called "Farewell to
Storyville". It has been reissued on LP and CD a few times over the years,
sometimes as "Storyville Blues".
It is NOT the same "Farewell to Storyville" that Billie, Louis & chorus did
in the film 1946 "New Orleans". Which was taken from Maggie Jones' 1924 song
- with Louis - "Good Time Flat Blues".
Does anyone know where the later "Farewell to Storyville/Storyville Blues"
came from, and who wrote it?.
Are there any other versions of it?
The tune is vaguely familiar and its identity has been bothering a few of us
here in Sydney, ever since we heard it years ago on LP.
Very kind regards,
Bill.
