Too often sung by such an uninspiring singer you're
dead or wish you were by the last chorus's gasp.
A good tune for the front line to fill with chords
instead of taking the d at mn night off. You gotta
care to get away with this one.

Best recorded version was by Leuder Ohlwein's Jazzberry
Jazz Band where they switched in to and out of major in
the 4th measure - it lifted the whole tune.

I'd rather do Farewell to Storyville - or Beale Street with
all the right chords. Don't pick on Leuder's improvement;
holler when Beale's done wrong.
