Hi Tom

Louis Dumaine, Benny Moten, Sam Morgan, Pickett-Parham are well known
names for me,
But.... Frankie Franco??!!

Sure it was one more of Tomasino's speciality catches, but for make it
clear I took a look at Red Hot Jazz..... and marvel if I found a very
hot and cooking 1930 band with not less than Punch Miller blowing hell
from his trumpet! Especially in Somebody Stole My Girl.

Frankie Franco and his Louisianians:

Ed Burke Trombone
Zinky Cohn Piano
Charles Du Gaston Banjo
Bill Hilliard Tuba
Fred Howard Tenor Saxophone
Punch Miller, Vocals Trumpet
Francois Moseley Drums, Leader
Leon Washington Alto Saxophone

Thanks for that Tom!

Now, <<<How about some recollections about the following groups from
some of the old timers who saw or played with them>>> is surely a joke
and I pass.
