Bill Gunter asks about strange messages he is receiving filled with
all sorts of unintelligible rubbish.
Basically Bill, this is spam. The large amounts of rubbish
is there to try and fool your spam filter. The idea is that
putting lots of "reasonable" words that have nothing to do
with sex, finance or whatever they are trying to sell will
bias your filter into thinking the message is not spam.
Some of the more sophisticated spam that uses colours actually
change the colour of this text to the same as the background
so you cannot see it.
Sounds like you need to upgrade your spam filter to cope
with the latest trends in spam. Then the spammers will
find a way round that and so it goes on
