Dear Bob, David and friends,
Dick Hyman, over the years has recorded a few piano albums (LP/CD) of Fats
Waller stuff. I have some but there are too many to detail here.
However, what is probably being recalled in this 'Fats at the organ' thread
are the following three LPs/CDs recorded by Dick Hyman.
*Chiaroscuro CR 162 (LP) 'Fats Waller's Heavenly Jive'. Dick Hyman, organ,
Ruby Braff, cornet. 1976. (actual date not known)
*MHS (Music Heritage Society) 512089T (CD). Originally on LP. 'Dick Hyman
Plays The Music Of Fats Waller On The Emery Theatre Wurlitzer'. University
of Cincinnati, Ohio. 1981 (actual date not known).
*Concord CCD-43003 Originally on LP. 'A Pipe Organ Recital Plus One'. Dick
Hyman, organ; Ruby Braff, cornet. 24 April 1982.
I do not have any of these recordings.
