There was some beautiful scoring of Clifford Brown solos by Arturo
Sandoval on his homage album to Brownie: "I Remember Clifford" about 10
years ago. He scored the solos, then scored harmony unison parts with
the solos. He then recorded them one by one and melded them together
like the old Les Paul recordings. The result is stunning.
