The Barbone Street Jazz Band is gigging with 9 year old jazz violin
sensation Jonathan Russell at the Turk's Head Music Festival, West
Chester, PA USA this Sunday, July 18, from Noon until 12:40 PM.

Young Jonathan is truly an amazing jazz player, complete with
improvisational skills. You have got to see/hear him to believe it.
He ignited the crowd at the Wilmington July 4th celebration on the
Riverfront as he did in June at Super Sunday in West Chester. He is
receiving fan mail from young people as a result of both gigs with us.

He studies with grammy winner Andy Stein and has attended fiddle camp
with instructors such as Johnny Frigo and Marc O'Conner among others. He
amazes them also.

If you are not otherwise occupied, come on out to West Chester and see
him perform with us. There are also 11 more bands that follow us for a
full day of varied music, Noon to 8 PM. Plus Arts/Craft Booths, Food
Booths, Other Merchants, Kids Games and Amusement rides, etc. It makes
for a day of family fun. There is no admission charge.

BUT COME EARLY FOR 3 REASONS.

1) TO HEAR SEE JONATHAN AND BARBONE STREET. WE OPEN THE FESTIVITIES AT
NOON AND ARE DONE AT 12:40 PM. IT IS AN EXTRAORDINARY SET OF JAZZ FROM
THE OLD FOLKS AND THE KID + A 13 YEAR OLD SINGER, ALLISON LANDON WHO
WILL SING "SUMMERTIME" WITH US.

2) BECAUSE 10,000 OTHER PEOPLE WILL BE THERE.

3) FOR JAZZ, yeah, part of the fun of this unique American Art form, is
passing it on.
