Hi Jim & List mates:

What a wonderful post and a wonderful web site. It looks as if you have a an
extraordinary young man in Jonathan. He would certainly be an exception to the no sit in
rule or limited sit in rules of most bands.

Barbone Street, for one, would love to have him sit in. it would be an honor for us and
perhaps during the summer when we are busier, and he is not in school, we could get
together with him at a few gigs. (In the Philadelphia Area)

Or, if he could escape for a school day in March (Thursday March 4) we would love to
work a gig with him at The Chadds Ford Elementary School, just a bit Southwest of
Philadelphia. We will be there for an hour between 1 PM and 2 PM with an OKOM jazz
program for the kids from Kindergarten through 5th Grade. I think it would be enormous
fun for him, us, and for the audience.

Not much money involved, just $100 a man since we are doing it for the local school. But
it would just about cover expenses.

Our web site is http://home.earthlink.net/~barbonestreet

It would likely be a great example of how a band averaging 70 years old can relate to a
young man of 8, and an audience of 5 to 10 year olds.

It he and you can do it, or if you visit Philadelphia in summer, I hope we can get
together.

Cheers,
Steve Barbone
