The British singer, Beryl Bryden used to hit Madrid every May (she was
an avid bull fight fan & that's when "The National Fiesta" takes place),
and play the club we worked at to pay for her visit.  She wore a small
washboard around her neck, and played it quite well.  It wasn't really
that small, but on this rather LARGE lady, it looked small.
