[Dixielandjazz] Turk Murphy - Jimmie Stanislaus- Yama Yama Man

        I heard Turk at Earthquake McGoon's on Pier 39 several times, but
never when Jimmie Stanislaus sang Yama Yama - one of my favorite tunes.
Turk and his "front line" played up front of the rhythm section, as someone
has previously mentioned - but I remember Pete Clute and his piano set up on
the band's left side (audience's right).  I wonder if somewhere there might
be a recording of Stanislaus's vocal with the band - I'd be interested in
acquiring it.

        While on the subject of Yama Yama, IMHO no one does a better and
showmanship rendition of this old New Orleans lullaby than Howard Miyata,
T-bonist with High Sierra.  It brings down the house ever time.
