In a computer newsletter I get, there is a notice about a Microsoft class 
action lawsuit settlement for California. It gives a web site that states "You 
are entitled to settlement benefits if you purchased a computer that had certain 
Microsoft products installed on it between February 18, 1995 and December 15, 
2001 or if you purchased certain Microsoft software from a store, by mail or 
online during that same period for use in California. "
