Dear Hans,
Dicky Wells and Earl Warren were at the Pizza Express in London on 5 May
1978 (the day before Breda) and there are unissued tapes to prove it.
If they can be located.
Claude Hopkins seems to have kept a low profile on this trip.
Was this the tour (with Dicky Wells and Earl Warren) when Mr Hopkins slipped
on ice and had to be flown home?
A fall from which he never fully recovered and led to his musical
retirement.
A subject worth pursuing.
