I worked a joint, 5 nights a week, in Sacramento for 16 1/2 years, from 1961
to 1977. It was a great place called Capone's Chicago Tea Room. It was
supposed to be like a roaring 20s speak easy.

To get in the door, you walked into a fake telephone booth & pushed the back
of it.

There was a customer who used to come in. His name was Scotty & he was
cheap.

One night he requested a tune. When I played it, he threw a buck in my
kitty & took out 50 cents.
