You Bet Jerry:

And you did a great job of journalism too mate, by making it an honest REVIEW
and not a critique ripping apart the aging players who obviously still have
some fire and desire to spread the music.

Now if I were a punter reading this review I would consider seriously getting
in line to attend the next performance of these gentlemen and their band. At
the very least I would seek out a CD and buy one to give them a listen.

I love the part about the kids buying the CDs and getting them autographed.

What we need is more Respect for this music and those who provide it, most of
them have not changed much over the years, it is the audience and presenters
and critics, many who have little or no knowledge or exposure to the music so
they feel compelled to trash it as old fashioned and old people's music before
giving it a chance to grow on them and those unwashed around them.

Way to go Jerry, now if I might make a suggestion,

Send your review to every known music publication you can find and maybe just
maybe one of the youngsters in charge there will read it and get the message
and start to show some respect for Other People's Music other than their own
personal tastes.

If we all did that and reciprocated with other forms of Jazz we might get a
lot more cross over attendance at our events and respect from those we love to
despise.

Cheers,

Tom Wiggins
