Hi Rob:

Have a great time with your son, I have a seven year old grandson who has
lived with me for the past two years, ( my shadow) he loves music and has a great
ear for it, picking up the melodies immediately to almost any song he hears
and goes around whistling them.

Last year he made me get him his own snare drum and uniform so he can play
with the Band ANY TIME HE WANTS TO, that's what he proudly tells his friends at
school.
He has also gotten to picking out melody lines on the piano of recent and
plays along to a clavinova disc of Yellow Submarine pretty well for never having
had any instructions on it.
Can't learn piano from me, Drummers are not real musicians ya know.

Anyway, I have not been to the Cajun in New York yet, but I can assure you
there is no such thing as a "Cajun dive" they are all wonderful wholesome family
establishments where sometimes folks just have a bit too much fun AIIIEEEE!
I believe it's referred to as atmosphere. I suspect that The Cajun in New
York is a non profit organization for the purposes of displaced Louisiana Bayou
Inhabitants Rehabilitation (LBIR) for reentry into civilization. Please give
my regards to Cotton Eyed Joe and Rattlesnake Slim and a nice squeeze for Rosa
Lee. If things get a little out of hand just pretend your in an Irish Pub and
fight your way out the back door being careful not to hit the fiddle player,
he needs to come back and work the new crowd the next night.

Cajun Musicians don't get intoxicated, they just act that way so drunks can
have a role model to look up to. :)

Cheers,

Tom Wiggins
