Heard Jimmy LaRocca's Original Dixieland Jazz Band last night at the Edinburgh Jazz Festival. Great trumpet playing and a band which included players of the quality of Tom Fischer. They played some interesting original material as well as standards and had that wonderful sound that could only come from New Orleans.
