Hey folks,

The paragraph that follows indicates that Bob Ringwald has just discovered an early recording of Louis' that hitherto was unknown.Time to rewrite the text books to correct the false information that Louis' first recording was with Oliver in 1923.


  When someone uses the term "OKOM", they could be talking about a 1922
  recording of Louis Armstrong, or a 1955 recording of same.  They could be
  referring to Ragtime, early Swing, New Orleans style, Chicago style, the
  British style of Trad Jazz, the San Francisco style, etc.
