Listmates:  Just returned from NYC.  Went to 5 shows, the Philharmonic and 
the Carlyle Hotel to see Woody Allen.  As a clarinet player (I had never heard 
him) and was curios in lite of ,comments I had heard about him.  The  cover is 
$50.00 and the dinner is about $70.00, so it was an expensive clarinet lesson. 
 Now thqat I have heard him, I just don"t know what to say.  I was delighted 
to find the kind of club that never seems to exist anywhere, and is the dream 
of many of us.  In the Village there is a place called the "Cajun"  which is 
New Orleans in concept with the appropriate food and 'with OKOM 9 times a week. 
 I heard Vince Giordano's Nighthawks there and several other good groups.  No 
cover, but reasonable priced and tasty food.  I really recommend it for 
people in OKOM who visit there.  Also saw a tasty quintet at the Carnegie Club.  
Check 'em  out.
