Mr. Farrell asked about the usual key for Shiek of Araby, and I, 
among others, identified it as Bb.

The subject of the message I pulled this excerpt from was, however, 
Dr. Jazz, and I agree that Dr. Jazz is usually played in Eb.  But Dr. 
Jazz is not, as far as I can fathom, the shiek of anywhere. If I make 
myself clear.
