Dear boblyn,
What? Don't you trust Jack or me?

Louis' marriage to Daisy is documented in nearly ever good biog of his life.
Lil's first marriage was revealed on Louis' first passport application dated 3 July 1932, and has been previously
mentioned by me on this list.
However, one source for the fact is page 251 of 'King Oliver' (Laurie Wright. Storyville Publications. 1987).
Lil Hardin married James Johnson in January 1921, but they divorced in December that year.
Lillian Johnson is mentioned in the 1923 copyright documents as arranger for "Canal Street Blues", "Dipper Mouth Blues"
and Just Gone".
Louis married Daisy Parker in late 1918 in New Orleans.
Louis married Lil on Tuesday, 5 Feb 1924 in Chicago.
Kind regards,
Bill.
