Apologies to all - should not have relied on memory (increasingly unreliable 
these days for some reason) when quoting from Razaf book. Maybe he really 
didn't intend the lyrics as a protest against white/black prejudice (hard to 
reconcile with the words of the bridge, tho), but it still comes across as a 
powerful statement...... I vow to be more careful next time (always assuming 
I can remember I vowed to do that).
