Gary Larsen, the wonderful "Far Side" cartoonist, quit at the top to devote himself to play banjo and guitar in his own (unsuccessful) jazz band, according to an article today about publication of his new 2-volume (20-pound!) anthology of all his cartoons. Bill Horton
