[Dixielandjazz] Play soft and grt gigs

Hi All
We did a gig yesterday (Sunday) afternoon at Gympie, a small rural town
about an hour away from where we live. It was held in a beautiful =
restored
country pub as a fundraiser for their agricultural "show". We set up a
single vocal mike and single bin on a stand. We not only played soft and =
hot
but we remained seated for the performance to great applause, little =
kids
sitting in front of the band listening, women throwing themselves at the
band members, many CD sales and drinks bought for the band. The last set =
we
did a walk around to standing ovation and two excellent new bookings
resulted from the show, one a private birthday and one for an out door
concert in front of 3000 people. We will use the PA on offer for that =
one,
but in the meantime, bring on the softies!=20
