[Dixielandjazz] Smugtown Stompers At The Mug --Tuesday, November 18

Hi Friends,

This is a reminder that we will be at The Mug Restaurant on Tuesday, November 
18 from 7-9:30PM.  The band features two of our younger proteges:  Mark 
Bernard on trumpet, and Andrea Fragnito-Santillo on piano.  "Professor" Peter 
Ferran will also be playing with us on clarinet.  Peter hails from Michigan and has 
played with many excellent bands across the country (including Jim Cullum's 
band at The Landing).  

As you know, we have established THE MUG as our western jazz outpost and we 
are anxious to build a following there, much the same as our standing-room only 
audiences at the Fairport Village Inn.  Our hosts are Al and Jo Torres who 
serve delicious food at very affordable prices.   The Mug is located in the 
Chili-Paul Plaza right across the street from the Chili Fire Department.   Bring 
some friends over and if you want to introduce some children or younger 
musicians to Traditional Jazz..this is perfect place.  Phone: 889-4547 for table 
reservations.  There is no cover charge, but a pot is passed for donations to our 
expenses.
