Dear Richard,
No one seems to have answered your Tony Mottola/Carl Kress query, so here goes.
They recorded together for Capitol in May & Oct 1946, Feb 1947 and May 1947.
Solo duets and band sides.
The issued sides came out on two 7' discs EAP 1, EAP 2 and a 10" LP H368.
They have also been reissued (with some previously unissued sides) on the Mosaic
'Classic Capitol Jazz Sessions' compilation.
