[Dixielandjazz] Mardi Gras tonight

Joe Bithell's Silicon Gulch jazz Band has been playing every Tuesday at
the Prince of Wales Pub in San Mateo, CA for many, many years and by
default has a Mardi Gras party each year. It is not an over-the-top
event but more than a few guest musicians show up and jam (me
included.) http://www.keller.com/bass/siliconcalendar.html for the
details. The song list runs a bit towards the traditional Mardi Gras
parade songs but mostly Joe calls from his standard song list. The
audience has been known to be worked into a moderate frenzy but usually
not to any great excess (darn!)
