In the early days of the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee, one of the bands I never
missed was the SOBs.

They had that wonderful Bixish cornetist Tom Pletcher &, was it Russ whitman
on bass sax?

BTW- How is Tom after his accident?

The SOBs were a breath of fresh air.  Never over-blowing, with nice tasty
arrangements.
