Hey Jerry et al;

The re-issuance of classic recorded material is a topic of hot discussion in several venues these days. We at the Estate of Frank J Assunto have been chasing down leads of so-call legit expert jazz label organizations in Europe that have been re-releasing a lot of Audio Fidelity Dukes material for over a decade. According to the original signed and dated Artist Contracts that we have that material should be in the possession of the Estate. So how can these offshore firms be reissuing the Dukes material and not even paying royalties to the Estate?

In my honest opinion, people should only deal with the Columbias, RCAs, and Universal labels. When someone purchases a CD on those labels the artist still gets his/her royalties.
