I am usually a lurker reading messages by my friends Hooks, Beebe, Barbone, Ingle and more.

My group, the Dixieland Rhythm Kings. will be appearing in Burlington , Iowa, on Monday June 16th at the Dan Bied Memorial Jazz Fest. Bied was a journalist in Burlington who covered the jazz scene. He authored a book on jazz telling of his experiences.
It'll be a hot band with long-time pros such as Bob Neighbor-trumpet, Bill Hanck-trombone, Kim Cusack-clarinet, John Ulrich-piano and Rusty Jones on drums. I'm the bass lugger and picker.
