HI Rebecca, Don Ingle and others. I did receive your message, Rebecca and I replied. The problem is that I am guesting on relative's computers and I'm not sure if my replies and postings are going out or not.
I'll leep trying. I am in LaCrosse, WIS and living with two sisters alternately. I am well treated and well fed. the weather and countryside here are absolutely beautiful now. I amd kind of in a limbo situation but at the moment I am all right. I do hope to access a computer more that I can reply and post out with.
I did get an email from Chris Barber in England. That was a nice surp[rise to hear from him. One of our Listers told him that I have a Williams trombone, Model 4. Chris told me an interesting story about doing a tour years ago with his band and and All-star group with Jack Teagarden. Jack let him play his horn with the All-Star band at one point and Chris thinks that it was the same model that I have. He wants to get one for sentimental reasons and because he really liked it.
I had to tell him that I hadn't really thought of selling it. Adn I do have that model.
Best regards to all and thanks for your kind thoughts.
Jim Beebe
