[Dixielandjazz] Memphis Nighthawks

Rae Ann wanted to know who the Memphis Nighthawks are/were.
They are from the Champaign-Urbana Illinois area, and are/were a stomping5 piece group (no piano, bass or drums!) feat. Steve Jensen, tpt; Joel Helleny, tb; Ron DeWar, Sop Sax,Cl, C-mel sax; Mike Miller , Bj, Gtr; Dave Feinman, Bass Sax and Bob Kornacher, drums on occasion.   They played the Bix fest in the 1980's, and produced at least one album which I have and is a real blast.  They do a lot of oliver, morton.  The album I have is Delmark ds-215 "Jazz Lips.
