Regarding gravity and the sucking world, Ernie Kovacs used to have a
segment on his program called "The Question Man." One went like this:

Dear Mr. Question Man: Since the world is round and floating and turning in
space, at least half the people are upside down at any given time. Why
aren't they falling off?

Answer: You are laboring under a misapprehension. People are falling off
all the time.
