Thanks to Bill Egleston for noting a typo I made. Sweet Emma Barret died in 1983, when she autographed an album for him, not in 1963. I copied it wrongly from my book "Jazz and Death", where it is correct. According to "Variety", she made her final performance on 1/18/83. Regards. Fred
