1) Golly, gee, I didn't know you held the Japanese in such contempt. ;-)
I always viewed them as knowing more about trad jazz than most punters.

Regarding their schedule: They will be at The Hague on July 12
(tomorrow). At Victoria Spain on July 13 and in Pori Finland from July
15 through the 19th. Regarding not being in Merry Old England, probably
because there is no money there and no other reason to go there. No
doubt why many bands do not appear in England.

Regarding "scam" suggest you visit Preservation Hall Website and find
out that they list multiple musicians in the band, and multiple bands
and some VERY GOOD PLAYERS are among their musician listing. Also
suggest those knowledgeable "British Jazz Followers" do the same, so
that they can "see through" all the misinformed statements you make
about Preservation Hall. I hope they are more knowledgeable. If not,
then I would indeed be contemptuous of them.

That individuals may or may not like the way they play is a fact of
life. But to criticize them when you obviously no nothing about them is
rather unsporting. Bottom line is that they are: The MOST POPULAR
DIXIELAND BAND IN THE WORLD, whether you, or I or any of the Dixieland
Police like it or not.

Suggest that all people who might think Barbone Street or Preservation
Hall is scamming anybody, visit both our websites. We both state rather
clearly that we employ multiple musicians in multiple bands. Suggest you
learn a little about the subject matter, so that you can discuss it a
bit more rationally,

Cheers,
Steve Barbone
