Banjoists & Drummers usually get the joke treatment.  Here are couple of Trombonist lines that may help with intro's.
Q: What makes the trombone such a divine instrument ?
A: Because man blows into it, but G-d knows what comes out.

Q: How can you tell which kid in the playground is the child of a trombonist ?
A: They don't know how to use the slide and can't swing.
