                  Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society 
                               presents:
                      MONTEREY LIGHTHOUSE JAZZBAND
 
One of the most popular Jazz - Hot Dance - Swing - Dixie Bands in the 
Monterey, California area will be the featured band on Sunday July 13, 
2003, noon - 5:00 PM. 
 
n the words of leader and clarinetist Russ Guarino, "WE PLAY TRADITIONAL 
JAZZ Specializing in music of the 30s, 40s, and 50s, the most fun, toe 
tapping, dancing/listening music you've ever heard. Our sound is based 
on the traditional classic Dixieland music of New Orleans and Chicago." 
 
The Main Stage will come alive at noon sharp with the very dancible Bob 
Thomason Trio. This will be their first appearance at STJS. If you like 
to dance, be sure to get there early to stake out your spot on the dance 
floor. The second set will feature Sacramento's well-known Black Tuesday 
Jazz Band.
