[Dixielandjazz] Getting Paid

Hi Tom, I never had problems getting paid in clubs where Sinatra use to hang out in the 70s. Our "Big Guido" was really a guy named Jerry who was only about 5 feet tall, the same dimension as his chest size. You had the feeling if he shook your hand you'd never play again. Dick

Me neither, just borrowed it as collateral until they paid me, which they usually never did,
back in those days, and going to court to try and collect was a waste of time and just costs much more time and money.

And I did not have to pay Guido either. In fact I always made Guido pay me in cash up front.

Used to take my bad checks from the club owners to the Musicians Union to collect, ha ha hahahah oh yeah. All that got me was Blacklisted from playing the clubs, and they had a new sucker band the next week, never missing a stroke.

That's how I got the nickname "T Cash " Wiggins
  Cheers,

  Tom
