[Dixielandjazz] LA Area Jazz Meet 1/19/03

This Sunday (1/19/03) Jazz Forum meets 1 to 5 PM at the Elks Lodge, 1040 Pico 
Blvd., Santa Monica, CA.  The feature this month is the Bobby Gordon Trio, 
with the world famous clarinetist and occasional vocalist, the superb pianist 
Chris Dawson, and San Diego's gift to rhythm, drummer Hal Smith.  This is an 
all-star group, so don't miss this last party at the Santa Monica Eks. 
 Other sets are for sit-in musicians.   Admission $8, members $6,  performing 
musicians free. There is a nice dance floor at the side of the room and a 
full bar with reasonable drink prices and friendly folks.  Call (818) 343
