How 'bout Kansas City?

Jay McShann left the big band behind after WWII, and until the mid-50s,
toured with a small, swing-flavored, blues-and-R&B combo that included Jimmy
Witherspoon. He gave up touring when rock 'n roll emerged (like so many
others!), but started again in the late 60s. Now, at age 94, he's still
playing! He'll travel to Toronto for a gig in two weeks. His career spans
eras, not just decades -- amazing.
