[Dixielandjazz] Question !

Bob;

I don't believe that any one instrument is easier to learn than another.
However, some instruments require special skills or have unique requirements
which may play a role in learning to play an instrument.

The brass all require physical ability to control and move air especially
the higher notes.

The reeds require a great deal of manual dexterity to operate the various
keys and cover holes.

The piano also requires fine motor skills.

With this in mind, an individual a very good ear, sense of rhythm, and
well-directed practice, should be able to learn just about any instrument.
