Thanks for the interest in our Caoba jazz band.
I`ll be with the Caoba`s next Thursday....and I`ll ask them about how to
obtain their CDs. I do have all of them. They compose some tunes by them
self too, like ``Caoba express`` wonderful tune resembling a train with the
band inside. Their style is very traditional and ``hot``, precisely the name
of one of their CDs is ´´Hot Jazz´´, of interest, many of the tunes in there
were recorded in the living room of my teacher trumpeter Vismara including
the rare one ¨Bozo´´. It is a seven member band with washboard and swanee
whistle included. Their are well know by G. Buck who recorded them in New
Orleans.
