I believe they were attracted to the peceived paucity of talent on the West
Coast scene, then discouraged by the actual paucity of money.

Does anyone know what happened to the band Swing Savant? We played opposite
them at Jazz Aspen at Snowmass, in "96" and I've not heard about them since.
