[Dixielandjazz] Sunday fun for Southern Calif.

Greetings gang...

I am a big supporter of  local community activities and for those here in the 
(quite warm) Los Angeles area, something special is happening tomorrow.  It 
is a "senior prom" in Montrose  just north of Glendale, which is part of a 
Farmers market. People over 60 (who is going to "card" them???) are invited 
to come from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. to dance in the street.  The band is  the 
Pieter Meijers Quartet and WHO knows who may just drop by?  All are welcomed  
during those hours.  Montrose is basically at the intersection of the 2 and 
210 and is very quaint. It would be good to see some familiar faces.  I am 
announcing on my own because it sounds like so much fun.

p.s.  Because of the Farmers market - no jazzin' dawgs are allowed so Korkee 
will just have to mind the shop....
