Regarding Have You Met Miss Jones, John Farrell writes:
"The bridge changes sound really scary !"

It's interesting to note that the dreaded bridge of this tune is the basis
for John Coltrane's dreaded Giant Steps changes (which is now one of the
most common modern chord substitutions).  Even the most "modern" ideas still
have their roots in the standards!

BTW - Tom Saunders and the MidWest All Stars put on a helluva show at the
Firefly Club in Ann Arbor Saturday night (the place was sold out).  My
understanding is that the show was recorded for a new cd which will be
available in the near future.
