[Dixielandjazz] What about Sir George (Shearing) or Dame Marian (McPartland)?

I'd personally be delighted with a Knighthood - in the first place,such an 
award would
get media coverage for OKOM, and in the second place I could increase the 
band fees on the basis of a Knight of the Realm being one of the members. 
But if I can't have an Honour, then I agree with John, the whole damn system 
should be scrapped!
