[Dixielandjazz] George Shearing

John Farrell waxed eloquently about the superb piano playing of George
Shearing. I wholeheartedly agree. For those who like Shearing (and even
those who don't) the link to an interview with him, below, is very

I heard him in NYC with Buddy DeFranco, Denzil Best and John Levy in
quartet form. It doesn't get much better than that and is a pity that
they never, to my knowledge, recorded.

George Shearing? IMO a GIANT for a lot of reasons.
